Webtalk's mission is simple; help the world create more success.
Founded in 2011, Webtalk invested several years in research and development, building a revolutionary social-marketplace search engine based on trust to change how the world works. The company's focus is to organize and validate the world’s information, surrounding people and businesses, to create a trustworthy virtual economy. Ultimately creating a safer and more successful world.
Currently, people use Webtalk to manage all relationships, personal and business, seamlessly, but soon they will use Webtalk to conduct due diligence on individuals and entities prior to completing a transaction. Webtalk also has a marketplace service underway to conduct transactions.
The combination of these services will enable the world to research, connect, validate, transact and collaborate with others, providing true end-to-end management for all types of relationships, personal and business. Creating a trusted global community to begin and maintain all relationships.

Using a patent-pending data labeling process (AKA SocialCRM), Webtalk has been able to reinvent online relationship management through a user experience unparalleled in the industry. Our Leadership

RJ Garbowicz
Founder, CEO and Chairman
RJ Garbowicz is the founder, CEO and Chairman of Webtalk, which he founded in 2011. RJ is responsible for setting the product strategy and overall direction for the company. He leads the design and development of Webtalk's products and services.
RJ is a serial entrepreneur having launched four previous tech companies with two exits. He studied web design at St Petersburg College and served his country as an avionic radar technician for the IL Army National Guard.

Andrew Peret
Cofounder, CTO
Andrew Peret is chief technology officer at Webtalk and leads the development of the technology strategies and teams, driven to create innovative technologies to establish Webtalk as a market leader.
Andrew has extensive startup and corporate experience. He established multiple engineering teams for American Express. These teams delivered the Serve and BlueBird products, reloadable prepaid products that brought millions of new customers to American Express. He led engineering for Revolution Money, a startup acquired for over $300M. He led mobile development for Gifmo, a mobile focused gift card platform in Southeast Asia. He re-engineered warehouse conveyor systems for Home Shopping Network saving the company an estimated $1M annually. In addition to his extensive technology experience, Andrew is an expert motivator and mentor to aspiring engineers.

Basit Hussain, PhD.
Cofounder, Chief Architect & Scientist
Basit Hussain is chief architect and data scientist responsible for the architecture, implementation and deployment of the company's software products. He is also tasked with managing development of geographically distributed teams using cutting edge functional programming language tools, graph databases and data persistence technologies to support millions of concurrent users.
Basit founded and has been serving as the CTO of True Meridian, a multinational software development firm, for 14 years. He holds several patents, has published in internationally reputed journals, and has consulted with fortune 100 companies. He has an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from University of Miami with specialization in Neural Networks.

Jeff Catherell
Cofounder, CBO
Jeff Catherell is chief business officer at Webtalk and is responsible for investment raising, operational planning, support, and business development.
Jeff is a serial entrepreneur and early stage angel investor having started and/or funded many successful companies from technology, to entertainment to hospitality. He served several years in Special Operations for the US Army and received his Associates Degree with a concentration in business management from Tallahassee Community College.

Jamie Pews, CPA, MBA
Cofounder, VP of Finance & Admin
Jamie Pews is vice president of finance and administration responsible for all financial-related activities at Webtalk, including cap table administration, accounting and financial reporting, tax planning, and insurance risk management. Jamie’s CPA background at Deloitte led to his management role at United Rentals (“URI”) where he supported the M&A team and reported to the CFO. Jamie Pews is best-known for having founded and patented The Startup Store, an Atlanta-based firm that offers a wide array of startup consulting services to B2B companies. The Startup Store services the Atlanta GA, Tampa and St Petersburg FL markets. He is also certified as a CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant), a Dale Carnegie Course graduate, earned an MBA in Finance with honors as well as graduated Summa Cum Laude in Accounting.
